Segway Grand Tour

2hr tour around the old city suitable for anyone over the age of 12 years

Experience the pleasure of an unforgettable 2-stage, 2-hour trip on your Segway gyropod, where you will discover the most beautiful sites of the Old Town of Nice. Then, you climb the hill of the castle to discover the beautiful views of the Bay of Angels!

This is a circuit with a moderate and then fast pace, ideal to mix cultural discovery and sensations of the piloting of the Segway gyropod.

After the initiation given by your guide, you will ride on the most famous avenue in Nice! "The Promenade des Anglais". At the end of the prom, you will walk along the Ponchettes, a very popular walking path until the 1960s where a study project is underway to revive this tradition.

Next is The Cours Saleya which is parallel to the Promenade des Anglais and is a must-see for anyone wandering around the old town. It is also the place of a real Mediterranean market, warm and full of life where you can find fruit, vegetables and local products from the surrounding area of Nice. The flower market is also here.

The tour continues visiting the following attractions:

  • The Palace of the Dukes of Savoy
  • The Palace of Justice
  • Place Rossetti
  • Rauba Capéu Wharf
The tour finishes at Castle Hill, the most exciting part of the tour where your Segway gyropod is now unlocked to its maximum speed to approach the ascent of the hill. An exceptional feeling of pleasure in its raw state awaits you! Once at the top of the hill, you will be speechless in front of the panoramic views of the Bay of Angels, Lympia Harbor and Mount Boron Hill. You can even refresh yourself and / or rest for a few moments (depending on the timing). Do not look for the castle, you will not find it, only a few ruins ... Louis XIV took charge of destroying it at the beginning of the eighteenth century!
