Ronde des Plages, Menton
10km race around the beaches of Menton
Short but speedy, this 10km dash takes you from the seafront of Menton to the Italian border and back.
A circular route along the promenade gives runners beautiful views of the bay and spectators plenty of good vantage points from which to cheer the runners on.
There are also two shorter races for children: 1.5km for 6-10 year olds and 3km for 11-15 year olds.
Where and when
The race starts and finishes at Port Garavan, just 500m west of the Italian border. Runners head west in the direction of Cap Martin, turning back at Port Elsa to run all the way to the Italian border, making one last about-turn to finish at the same place as the start line.
Venue
Port Garavan, Menton
