Naval Flower Battle - Combat Naval Fleuri 2020

This is a unique event where a fleet of traditional fishing boats are decorated with locally grown flowers in the Porte de la Sante in Villefranche-sur-Mer.

The events attracts hundreds of spectators each year and is a very special day for the local town folk. The event takes place in February each year at the seafront of the Port de la Sante. The boats are mostly decorated with carnation and mimosa flower, with each boat representing something different with its decoration.
