Will you be on holiday in Nice over the next month? Worried that you'll miss out on the EURO 2016 football matches, that atmosphere in your home pub, your mates cheering beside you?

Well fear not! The city of nice have set up two fan-zones in the city so that around 10,000 spectators can gather together and watch the matches on the big screen. How is that for atmosphere?

Two giant screens have been installed, one at the Théâtre de Verdure on the Quai des Etats Unis and the other at l'arc de Venet in the Jardin Albert 1er. They will open approximately two hours ahead of the kickoff times and will remain open until midnight. Catering stalls are located on site.

In addition you will be able to get transport from here to the stadium, with a specific line between the Fan Zone and Stadium on match days.

Safety and security are of course paramount: nearly 120 private security personnel will be on site, as well as a counting system at access points with body searches, frisking and scanning devices and a fire emergency system.

Access to both of the fan-zones will be free, however you should be aware that not all of the matches will be broadcast. A total of twenty three transmissions have been programmed, which will of course include the French games and the finals of the competition.
