Beautiful image of the city of Nice at night
Thomas Pesquet is a European French astronaut, an aerospace engineer and Air France pilot. He was launched to the International Space Station on 17 November 2016 for his six-month Proxima mission as a flight engineer for Expeditions 50 and 51. He is scheduled to return to Earth in May 2017.
For the past few months, he has been uploading stunning images of the Earth from space to his Flickr account. His 7300 followers regularly enjoy his updates of life on the space station as well as his incredible images of earth from above.
