The Alpes-Maritimes region may be a favourite outdoor playground to many people, but now it also hosts the first indoor playground where you can swim, climb, jump, explore underground and go canyoning.

A unique place in Europe, the Vesubia Mountain Park offers you the chance to try climbing, canyoning, caving, tree-top adventures and enjoy swimming all under one roof. Yes, under a roof! Indoor mountain fun - regardless of the weather on the outside.

Managed and run by the UCPA (a French organisation that makes outdoor sports available to all) you can discover all of these sports in a safe environment with instructors and guides right by your side. For those less adventurous you will find a relaxation area where you can meet with family and friends, enjoy a snack and watch people scaling the heights of the indoor climbing wall.

In this den of thrills, you can enjoy the interior canyoning space throughout the year, come rain, wind or snow. The "first of its kind in Europe," according to the department, there are three catchment areas with waterfalls, slides, jumps and abseiling. A river, an underground lake and caves with obstacles also form a 'caving space' of 80m in length.

Situated in the east of the Provence region, just 1.5hrs drive from Nice and Monaco, the new centre offers the perfect indoor and family activity throughout the year.
