Fete de la Lavande, Sainte Agnes

Annual gathering to celebrate lavender is this beautiful town

Imprint
Updated

Located 10km from Menton and the Italian border, Sainte Agnès is also a member of the most beautiful villages in France. At 800m above sea level, this medieval city offers one of the most impressive views of the Riviera and is a favorable environment for wild lavender.

This will be picked up by volunteers a few days before the event and will arrive in the village for the festival on the backs of donkeys.

There will be a Provencal farmers market during the day and several bands playing. Between 10:45 and 16:30 there will be displays about the distillation of the lavender plus numerous forms of entertainment and local specialities. Entry to the event is free.
