Beaulieu Classic Festival
The town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, east from Nice, hosts its Classic Music Festival. The eclectic programme features musical brunches, classic film soundtracks, tango, flamenco and all-time legendary composers like Beethoven, Mozart or Schubert.
European Heritage Days
Mid-September brings with it the annual European Heritage Days. Exceptional locations all around France, including Nice, will be open to visitors on these Journées du Patrimoine. Museums, churches and galleries all open their doors to the public for a weekend of celebrations in an event that has become increasingly popular over the years.
Jazz au Châtéau
Friday nights in neighbouring Cagnes sur Mer will continue to host their summer season of jazz concerts in September. Jazz au Châtéau offers an atmospheric venue for jazz trios, vocalists and gypsy swing bands. Free to attend, there's a shuttle bus to take you there from the central station at Cagnes.
Opéra de Nice
The season begins at the Opéra de Nice at the end of September. It's worth keeping an eye on their programme for anything you'd like to see whilst in the city.
Crossover Festival
Four day music festival showcasing local rising stars amongst the big names. It has built up a strong loyal following since its creation over a decade ago, and if you're here it's definitely worth a visit. Take a look at the programme online to make sure you don't miss out.
