To make sure that everyone enjoys the festivities and facilitate access to the city centre for the all-important Christmas shopping expeditions, the town hall in Nice is offering free parking to all visitors.

10 of the covered car parks in the centre of Nice have been offering one hour for free since the beginning of the year. It's also free to park on the streets during the first 30 minutes. Additionally, this Christmas, you can park on the streets of Nice without any costs or time limit during the weekends of December 15th-16th and 22nd-23rd.

Shop owners are also contributing. 15,000 parking vouchers will be distributed to their clients offering three free parking hours at the car parks in Corvésy, Marshall, Promenade des Arts and Palais Masséna, valid on the weekends of December 15th-16th and 22nd-23rd. They can also pay for their customers' parking using the mobile app PayByPhone.

Remember that the festive Christmas Village will be set up on Place Masséna throughout December, featuring activities for the whole family plus a whole host of stalls selling Christmas decorations and delicacies. No excuse not to come shopping in Nice these holidays!
