Nice Carnival returns with King of Space theme
With the 2017 edition just behind us, the Nice tourist office is already looking ahead to 2018 and the next edition, the 134th carnival of Nice.
After the 2017 theme - the King of Energy - which was a symbol of strength and resilience, His Majesty the Carnival King will be the King of Space (Roi de l'Espace) in 2018. A theme that plays on both the tradition and modernity of Nice, which is both the 4th "smart city" in the world and the city whose observatory is the one that has discovered the most planets in the last century.
As with previous editions, the Carnival of Nice will offer you spectacular and creative parades while offering you the opportunity to discover, or rediscover, the charms of Nice and the Cote d'Azur in winter.
