Blooming marvellous weekend at Villa Ephrussi
Welcome in the summer with the Roses Festival 2017
Hosting their eighth annual celebration of plants and roses, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild will be in full bloom a the start of May as the Fete des Roses et des Plantes transforms the landscape of this stunning villa.
Their finest flowers and plants will be on display for garden lovers to enjoy. From amateur enthusiasts to more experienced gardeners, are all welcome to come and take a stroll amidst the variety of ancient and contemporary climbing roses and ground cover plants. Alongside the rose growers and their colourful stands, other professionals will also be hosting stands in the alleys of the Jardin à la Française, where they will present rare plants, exotic and Mediterranean flowers, irises, and citruses.
Several activities are also on offer to allow both adults and children to explore the world of plants: guided tours of the nine themed gardens at the Ephrussi de Rothschild Villa, workshops runs by florists to teach you to make bouquets, or by gardeners to learn the best way to repot plants.
Free shuttle buses run from the station and the port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer and certain parking areas in St Jean Cap Ferrat. Adult entry ticket is €15 and tickets can be booked online in advance.
