French Riviera eBike Tour, Nice

4hr & 7hr electrically assisted bike tour suitable for adults & children aged 12 and over

The half-day and full-day tours will introduce you to some of the best views in the South of France with minimal effort.

For both the 4 hour & 7 hour tour, you will start at 10:00 in the centre of Nice, near the old town. You will head up the hills surrounding Nice to look back over the Port of Nice, then onto Mont Boron Park which has more jaw dropping views. The tour also passes medieval fortresses, towns and cathedrals, before returning back to Nice old town. There will be time for coffee stops.

The 7hr tour will then continue on to:

St Jean Cap Ferrat
Visit of the Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild (ticket included)
Picnic stop with a relaxing game of petanque, an iconic pastime of the French Riviera.

The superb eBikes - electrically assisted bikes - are lightweight, highly adjustable, and safe as you can easily put your feet down on the ground. The powerful assist engine boosts your pedalling, turning the steepest hills into a doddle! You still need a basic/medium fitness (this is a bike, not a scooter) as you need to pedal for the assistance to kick in and the weight limit of the eBikes is 120 kg/265 lbs. If you want a challenge, you can always turn the assistance off!

Due to the size of the eBikes, you'll need to be over 145cm or 4ft 9 inches to ensure the bikes fit you correctly. These tours are not suitable for children under the age of 12.

"The Nice Cycle tour was the highlight of my trip, we toured 3 to 4 countryside towns in about 5 hours. Our tour guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and personable. There is no better way to see NICE then on two wheels with the wind blowing in your hair. It rained the entire time but we made the best of it, stopping at gorgeous cafes along the way to dry off. "My wife, 2 year old daughter and I had a great time. The weather was not great the day we booked and Thelma was kind enough to reschedule us to a Sunday which is not even a day she typically gives tours. So starting off we were impressed with her flexibility. I was given an e-bike which helped quite a bit since I had my 2 year old on my bike. Heads up the climb for Castle Hill is pretty steep so if you think you may have issues, I would recommend asking for an e bike. We were impressed with the city. Thelma was so very nice and was so great with our daughter. Guiding 5 people around the city is enough to deal with but entertaining a 2 year old while doing it is even more impressive.
